It’s Disney Springs reopening day, and dozens upon dozens of eager guests are lining up to eat at their favorite dining locations now that they have officially reopened to the public.
A limited number of dining locations have reopened today, but that hasn’t stopped crowds from flocking to Disney Springs (with their face masks on, of course). Click here for a complete list of dining locations that are officially open as of today.
Disney Springs began letting guests in well before the 10 a.m. reopening time, and even before the 11 or 11:30 a.m. opening times for the dining locations, guests began lining up outside certain restaurants that they have missed during the closure.

The Polite Pig boasted a line this morning. This quick-service dining location is very popular among Disney and barbecue fans alike, and it’s also a restaurant that many Disney Springs frequenters have said they have missed during the closure.
And T-Rex Cafe, which (albeit unexpectedly) just announced its reopening date this week, also had plenty of guests lining up to dine there. The line to get into T-Rex Cafe was the longest we’ve seen for this restaurant in quite some time, even before the temporary closure of Disney Springs.
Of course, guests also lined up to eat at Earl of Sandwich, a fan-favorite quick service location that is beloved by Disneyland and Disney World guests alike.
Lines of guests and a small crowd were spotted at The Boathouse and Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea, which are right across from each other at Disney Springs. Both Joffrey’s and The Boathouse are reopening today as well.
Guests also lined up outside STK, one of the first restaurants that revealed it would be reopening on May 20.

Keep in mind that Disney Springs is the first location on Walt Disney World Resort property to officially reopen amid the current pandemic. None of the Disney theme parks in the U.S. are open at this time, which means that Disney Springs (although with limited operations) is the only place on Disney World property where fans can get their Disney fix. So it’s not surprising for guests to eagerly await their opportunity to dine at these locations.
