Face Masks have become ubiquitous with daily life in our new normal. Without settling for basic white cotton, Disney fans have been making their own Disney face masks as well as lining up to purchase the shopDisney face masks that feature some special prints. But just as shopDisney has been plagued with checkout complaints with the limited edition Minnie Mouse items, new orders of Disney face masks look like they are facing a new delayed/later shipment date as fans continue to clamor for items.
Delayed Shipping? Or New Order Dates?
Originally, the masks were due to ship in June, but now many of the current preorders being made show a shipment date of July 15th, or alternatively July 29th. We can only hope that the original preorders placed on launch day will ship in June and the added orders will ship at this later time.
It’s understandable that not every mask can ship on the same date as they must be manufactured and then shipped. You can preorder your Disney face masks on shopDisney in 4 packs for only $19.99 in three sizes. Please check the size charts for an accurate fit.

Disney’s Donations
Disney has been donating the profits from the Disney face mask sales to Medshare in order to distribute to “children and families in underserved and vulnerable communities across the U.S.” As we reported in our initial face mask article,
“Disney’s donations will make a tremendous impact in the communities we serve,” says Charles Redding, CEO and president of MedShare. “Their contribution of one million Disney cloth face masks will be provided to families in underserved communities and organizations working to limit the spread of COVID-19, while their monetary donation will be used to support the medical community’s ongoing efforts to provide lifesaving care to those who need it most.”
For the most updated news and information regarding the pandemic and necessary measures, please visit the global WHO website. The CDC is recommending that cloth face masks be worn in public to help slow the spread of disease and keep us safe.
