Try out Some of Disney’s Cove Bar Drink Recipes Yourself!
The following three specialty drink recipes are specifically from Disney’s California Adventure Cove Bar menu, and are taught by the Cast Members who mix drinks there!
Now, keep in mind that The Cove Bar has since closed but these specialty drinks are currently being served on a “secret menu” in different parts of Disney’s California Adventure park — Check out Lamplight Lounge or at the AP Lounge located at Wine Country Trattoria for some of The Cove Bar’s famous drinks.
The Cove’s Fun Wheel
To make this drink, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- Ice
- 3oz Sweet and sour
- 1oz Fusion liqueur
- 0.5oz Vodka
- 0.5oz Rum
- Soda water
- Blue curacao float
- Lemon-lime whipped cream
Directions:
First, fill your glass with ice, then pour in the sweet and sour. Next, add in the fusion liqueur then pour the rum and vodka in at the same time. Top it off with soda water and blue curacao spraying the top of the drink with lemon-lime whipped cream. If you pour the drink carefully and in the right order, you should be able to maintain the beautiful separation of bright colors!
The Cove’s Coconut Elixir
To make this drink, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 0.5oz Cranberry Juice
- 3.5oz Coconut Water
- 2oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 Pump Coconut Syrup
- Pineapple
- Mint
Directions:
First, fill a cocktail shaker with one pump of coconut syrup and the pineapple juice. Then add in the coconut water and cranberry juice. Shake the drink mixture well. Pour it into the cup and decorate the glass with a wedge of pineapple and a mint leaf!
The Cove’s Black Pearl
To make this drink, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- Ice
- 0.5oz Rum
- 0.5oz Vodka
- 0.5oz Gin
- Sweet and Sour
- Black Raspberry Liqueur
- Lemon Slice
Directions:
First, fill the glass to the top with ice and pour in the vodka and rum. Then add in the gin, the sweet and sour, and the black raspberry liqueur, in that order. Finish the drink by garnishing the glass with a slice of lemon!
