Ready to start opening now in Florida. Start with limiting guest, take temperatures if you must. Do this for two week if no problems, then up the guest total for each parks for the next two weeks, again no problems continue the trend increasing the attendance every two weeks till you reach full attendance. My bags are packed!

Sorry but CMs were furloughed over the weekend without an opening date and no hope in sight you can not run a theme park wo them! Besides the parks arent going to just reopen on speight precautions and matience have to go over… cms need to retrain they been off as long as we all have! They can discuss things all they want on the guest sided that will never happen bc they just want you money but they can not just open w a blank canvas either even uncle walt wouldnt do that!

I think Disney should open for Florida passholders first to WDW, Cali passholders to DL – etc….in order to iron out all the possible kinks that may need to have a trial run. And slowly move from there, such as all global passholders in the next wave, so many ways they can go about this, but it would in turn – 1. try to set new protocols/standards. 2. give local passholders some perks of light crowds. 3. control and prep with a smaller influx of crowds. I know Disney is losing money daily, but it would be better to start small IMHO.

I think maybe a new protocol would be to limit Disney just to the people that are at the Disney hotels see how that goes

What about APs we should be first!? And i doubt we will be disney will not open unless they can full if you think otherwise your kidding yourself like everyone else thats sold out the hotel reservations till next yr and tell them they can not come in or they are subjected to testing after all this BS if you ask me!

  4. I think that since they are dropping the number of people for entrances, tickets will be hard to get for the park. It will end of being a certain groups will get into the park, compared to others. I agree they will cater to the people that stay at their resorts.

personally I believe that attendance should be lowered. When people have to wait sometimes for hours to get on a ride this is ridiculous. Maybe at first Disney shopping areas like Disney Springs should be opened for Florida residents or those with annual passes , then slowly for others . Then open one park at a time limiting the amount of guests that can come in , florida residents and annual passholders at first to see how things go. Yes I believe that temperatures should be taken because there are too many people that come sick and bring sick kids. I see kids suffering there a lot. I believe that I heard of non evasive machines that can automatically take temps when you walk through it like metal detectors detect metal could be used. Maybe they are expensive but put just a few at eac h park, after all you have to stop and get your bags checked already, so not a big deal to me…….Disney hotel stayers should be put in the mix from the states next, then people that stay outside the parks next . Eventually if the borders are open then start letting people from other countries in. Maybe this doesn’t fit well with a lot of people but something has to be done. Sometimes the parks are wall to wall people…….I am not sure what to do about parades, etc, maybe not have them until the virus is almost totally stopped , maybe with a vaccine. Anyone that comes into the country should be totally vaccinated with all the required vaccines, and others going to the parks should have all vaccines that are required for flu and this new virus. I have not gotten a flu shot in a couple years but I can get a shot, just will not feel well for a couple days, but it would be worth it to me for myself to not get sick or possibly pass it on to anyone elce’.some sort of pass should be given so everyone can get on 3 more popular rides a day and the rest be other rides for the day. maybe something on your magic bands can be scanned for this . Maybe Disney can consider things from their readers that are put on sites like these for considerations

Some ideas would be a reservation system, such as the one DLR had in place when they opened SWGE, last year, but it can be per land, area. Once you leave the area, no returning.
Boarding groups, or virtual queues for attractions in said land, so that there’s no super long wait time, like an hour, for Peter Pan, at DLR.
Move strictly to mobile ordering for all QSRs, and eliminate multiple outdoor ordering registers, unless you’re paying cash. The AP/ CM ID and MEP can be added to the app, but STILL be required to show the physical card and photo ID, to verify it’s the person using it.
For table service restaurants, move to a reservation only system, and allow only a handful of walk ups, if space permits.
As far as parades, reservation only, and no sitting on the parade path holding a spot, either.
Face to face character greets will be eliminated, for the time being, to ensure the health of the CM and guests.
Little things we all took for granted, have now become bigger things to deal with, here.
I also agree with Mark- CMs have been off since the 14th of March (DLR) and the 15th (WDW), and will have to go through an intensive retraining process, to make sure all the new protocols are learned, and the parks also have to go through a very thorough inspection not only by the local and state health officials, but by the CDC and OSHA, as well.
Sure, Thanos might’ve snapped his finger to take this all away from everyone, but it’s going to take more than snapping the gauntlet again, to get the parks up and running.

Id get my temp taken and wear a mask and hand sanitize, i dont have a problem with that. CMS would have to be trained on new protocols and yes a health inspection for the parks is a good idea before opening.

Opening in sessions, using the technology already in place. For example, if staying on property, can activate bands, tickets , finger print ID on property site so the bottle necking at the entrance can be avoided. Modify the hopper pass system to sessions… for the time being.. may have to limit a visitors time in one park, but open up the window for another…

I think that they should Rin like a rapid test of Covid, and see if you are positive or negative.. also wear a mask and temperature check. Thats the only way…
