Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the game we need right now. Heck, I’ve been so focused on harvesting golden apples and improving my town rating that I’ve barely slept.
It’s an excellent distraction from what’s going on in the world and has attracted both gamers and non-gamers to a new island home with its adorable charms.
It’s also a great way to find important Disney values that aren’t available in the parks right now; peace, kindness, and a little bit of magic. While we can’t visit our favorite Disney Park (or any theme park) at the moment, one fan of both series might have a solution.
This fan recreated the iconic Disneyland park on their deserted island in amazing detail. While it might not be completely accurate in terms of layout, the user painstakingly created this incredible land bit-by-bit and included merchandise stands, cantinas, and even ride recreations like Autopia!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been a vital resource for keeping people calm, entertained, and happy during this difficult time. It’s also given Disney lovers yet another way to get to know each other and share their own designs, rewards, and other cool stuff.
Just because we can’t visit the parks right now, doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate the magic and wonder of Walt Disney in other areas of life, virtual or otherwise.
