The Walt Disney World Resort has announced closures on its Theme Parks, and just last night has extended those closures to include Disney Springs and the resort hotels beginning today and staggering through this week.
All four theme parks, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios shut down last night, March 15, and will remain closed through March 31st. Disney announced late yesterday that they made the decision to close Disney Springs beginning March 17th, and the Resort Hotels will close at 5:00 P.M. EST March 20th.
The site was recently updated with more information regarding Disney’s Resort Transportation.
The Operational Updates page was created so guests could learn the latest about the closures and updates on all theme parks, water parks, resort hotels, Disney Springs, and transportation.

The most current info states that all Disney transportation will be suspended beginning the morning of Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 through the end of this month.
Guests that need transportation to the airport from their resort hotels will still be able to utilize Disney’s Magical Express Service through Friday, March, 20th.
Currently, guests and cast members are all working hard to navigate all these changes and get home. Disney’s College Program was abruptly suspended to allow the CP’s to make arrangements to pack up their dorms and make their way home.
Disney is doing a great job navigating the closures, keeping guests informed, and working hard to keep guests and cast members safe.
