There being foolish bc no one is risking stay at home orders including fines to arrests to go to the parks! Patience is a virtue folks!

    My guesss

Tokyo Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland: Mid-April
    Disney World: Early May
    Disneyland: Early May
    Disneyland Paris: Mid-May
    Hong Kong Disneyland: Who knows?

UPDATE: Tokyo Disneyland extended closure until April 20, So looks like my Mid-April prediction for that is still in the cards. For now

You have a good out look but i would say mid april is the holding pattern for the world even italy whose just as hard hit sad they are looking at mid april but these time are still uncertain! I still do not understand whats wrong w TBD instead of specific dates its still temporary and in the state of things would stress cms out bc they do not want to get sick nor get fired for staying home but guests whom have vacations to stress and just know its all for the best when we reopen it happens. Its just tbd in the future!

When are they going to stop taking monthly annual pass fees?

Not a good time to be dipping into people’s pockets.

Do you want your time extended or not at the end??? APs arent getting that for free you know how do you think they pay the cms during this or anytime??? You think disney with everything they have is just about the theme parks??? Wake up!!

    2. Peter

      THAT is for SURE!!

I’m surprised they haven’t stopped billing. Universal Studios basically “paused” our annual passes…no payments due and will extend the expiration dates on them too. I just figured Disney would do the same.

Like rebel porg said how do you think they pay their cms at wdw by osmosis? Disney has wsy more than the parks to take care of your lucky they are taking care of everyone universal is not i spoke w 10 people whom they fired all ent and they are happy they wrk both places… try to read between lines before saying uni is great esp on disney site!

  4. Since some Spring Breakers have tested positive for COVID-19 and people did not go by what rules put in place and went to beaches, had parties and gatherings putting themselves and others at risk, it prolongs the quarantine and stay-at-home for everyone so I would say neither would open before May 1 if not Memorial Day weekend.

My husband works for Disneyworld. They just announced on their employee hub, closed until further notice. Hourly cast members will still get paid through April 18th.

Take a moment and think about the workforce. The majority of front-line cast members are represented by unions and you can’t just make spur of the moment decisions with consulting them in some capacity because of the agreements. A little research goes a long way.

Many cms to add are also older and part retiree looking to do something fun in the golden yrs they w this still going arounds its not safe for them! Or even people whom are wc bound or have issues its the greatest pt of disney as a company they do not discriminate but they have to think about them as well as guests esp now!

Because there are MILLIONS of things more important right now than a disney vacation

You know for a bunch of disney you rant alot! And also do poor me alot! Poor you we are all in the same situation its not just you! Were any of you hugged as children? Please stop this is why putting a date on things isnt right the whole world is in TBD as it should be! Lets have hope pray for each other (weather religious or not) and be strong!

Vacation plans are on hold for everyone affected by this virus. People are without pay or jobs and in my opinion vacations and going to theme parks are at the bottom of many “to do’s “ list. I’m an annual pass holder and live 3 hours away and I won’t be going there anytime soon even when they reopen . It’s better to error on the side of living…I have too much to live for than to risk it at Disney or any other vacation destination.
