You know, looking back, it really did feel too good to be true. When concerns about the continued spread of the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19 led the Walt Disney Company to announce the closure of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, they originally said the retail and dining districts would stay open. Unfortunately, now we know that is now the case.
On March 16, 2020, Disney announced the closure of all Disney-owned-and-operated establishments at Downtown Disney in California. But now, it appears that even the non-Disney shops and restaurants are planning on closing down.
