"Accio Smartphone!" New Harry Potter Mobile Game Announced - Inside the Magic

A new Harry Potter-themed mobile game is about to be launched by the company Zynga under its Portkey Games Label. It’s called Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells.

According to Wizardingworld.com,

“Licensed from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and published under the Portkey Games label, the game promises to weave match-3 puzzle gameplay with the characters, narrative, settings, spell-casting and, of course, magical mischief of the Wizarding World. We know very well that Harry Potter quizzes, puzzles and other brain teasers have always been as popular as a swift Butterbeer down The Three Broomsticks – so this should be right up your (Diagon) alley!”

Step into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter straight from your phone. Create your own persona, cast spells, and brew potions, and mingle with the Hogwarts students you’ve come to know and love from the Harry Potter books and movies. Level-up by solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles. And mingle with other players by forming clubs and joining forces to participate in certain activities.

Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells follows shortly behind Zynga’s two other releases, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery and Wizards Unite. It will be made available in the app store for iOS and Android devices, as well as Amazon Kindle and Facebook. It does not have a release date yet.
