Day Full of Disney Recipes

If you’re looking for a good weekend or stay-at-home activity, here’s one to fill your day! Have a full day in the kitchen making Disney recipes together with your loved ones. The recipes listed will take you all the way from breakfast to dessert.

After you’re done cooking the meal, you can sit down and enjoy the food while you pop something on the television with Disney+. Maybe even start the movie or show you’re going to watch while you’re cooking if the characters in these movies are in the recipes. It might be a good inspiration for the meal!  Of course, feel free to swap of movies.  These are just tips and suggestions!

“It all started with a Mouse.” -Walt Disney

  • One egg
  • Strawberry jam
  • Blueberries

  3. Place bread into pan. Flip each piece over after about one minute.

  4. Break an egg into a small bowl, and pour directly into the Mickey Mouse silhouette in the bread. Cook egg over easy.

  • 1 can of cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 8 white or semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 strawberries

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.

  2. Place 4 rolls on cookie sheet, about 3 inches apart. Unwind remaining 4 rolls as long dough strips and divide in half. For each Minnie Mouse bun, roll one of the half-strips into a mini-roll and place it at the top of the bun as an ear. Repeat with a second half-strip to make a second ear. Press and firmly pinch cuts ends into top of whole roll.

  3. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack. Drizzle frosting on warm rolls.

  4. Press two chocolate chips into the face as eyes, and then slice a strawberry into thin vertical pieces. Place them between the ears with the tips together and the wide ends pointing out, like a bow. Cut a small strip of leftover strawberry and place in the center of the slices to make the knot. Serve warm!

Lunch is Lilo and Stitch-themed because, well, this day is about Ohana, family. Spending quality time together with those you call Ohana is so important. And this recipe will take some time: Kalua Pork Nachos and Scrump Avocado Toast. You’ll want to start this right after breakfast and pop in a film while you wait for it to cook. Disney+ has three Lilo & Stitch options for you to pick from!

Recipe Source: Disney Family

  • 2 to 3 pound Boston butt pork shoulder roast
  • 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • 1 tablespoon Hawaiian pink salt or sea salt
  • 1 medium bag yellow corn tortilla chips
  • 6 ounces (weight) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Cholula or Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced

Helpful Tip

Serves 4 to 6

  1. With a fork, pierce the pork roast repeatedly on all sides. Rub the entire roast with the liquid smoke and then the salt. Place in a slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours until the roast is so tender that it falls apart. Remove the roast from the slow cooker and the cooking juices and shred with a fork.

  2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread the tortilla chips on a large baking sheet. Top the chips with kalua pork and then evenly sprinkle the cheese on the pork. Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  3. Wile the nachos are baking, mix to combine the sour cream and hot sauce (the amount of hot sauce will vary with your tastes).

  4. Remove the nachos from the oven and top with hot sauce, sour cream, avocados, and tomatoes. Serve warm.

  • 1 slice toast
  • 1/2 an avocado, mashed
  • 1 basil leaf
  • Toothpick
  • 3 black olives
  • 1 thin slice bell pepper
  • 1 small tomato or 2 cherry tomatoes
  • Shredded cheese

Helpful Tip

All cutting should be done by an adult.

  1. Cut the edges off your toast to make an oval shape.

  2. Spread mashed avocado on your toast.

  3. Using a knife or kitchen scissors, cut a basil leaf into a small circle. Then use a toothpick to poke 4 small holes into the leaf to look like Scrump’s button eye.

  4. Cut a large olive in half, and use it for Scrump’s other eye.

  5. Cut your remaining olives into small, thin strips and place across your avocado toast in the pattern of Scrump’s mouth.

  6. In between the olives that make Scrump’s mouth, place tiny strips of red bell pepper for the stitches.

  7. Cut your tomato into fourths, rounding out the edges to look like sides of a bow. Place on your plate above your toast.

  8. Top with shredded cheese above the tomato bow.

Snack time! It’s light, refreshing, and nutritious. The recipe below is for a Sleeping Beauty smoothie bowl, but you can make one for Cinderella, Snow White, other princesses, or any character you want really. Just pick fruit colors that will showcase your favorite character! P.S. Toy Story and Aladdin have some great fruit color options for smoothie bowls. Princess or Toy Story movies, anyone?

  • Cooked spaghetti
  • Soft bread, like challah
  • 1 Cup whipped cream cheese
  • Black and red food coloring
  • Olives
  • Meatballs
  • Sauce

  1. Boil a pot of water and prepare your spaghetti as noted on the box. Then set aside.

  2. Cut 2 ovals out of the bread to use for Lady and Tramp’s faces.

  3. For Lady, use the crust of the bread to cut out the shapes of her ears. Then use the inside of the bread loaf to mold the shape of her nose.

  4. For Tramp’s ears, cut 2 triangles out of bread. Then use the inside soft part of the bread to mold his muzzle and outer eyes.

  5. Use olives to cut Lady and Tramp’s eyes and noses, as well as Lady’s eyelashes.

  6. Place 3/4 of your whipped cream cheese in a bowl and add a couple drops of black food coloring until you have the gray color of Tramp.

  7. Spread the gray cream cheese on Tramp’s head and ears, then place the ears on top of the head.

  8. Add in more cream cheese to get a lighter gray color to use for Tramp’s outer eyes. Spread cream cheese onto eyes, then add eyes to his face. For his muzzle, spread plain white cream cheese on bread and add to face.

  9. In a bowl, add a drop of red food coloring to 1 tablespoon of cream cheese, and combine until you have a pink color. Use to make Lady’s cheeks.

  10. Top the spaghetti off with your meatballs and sauce of choice, and enjoy your dinner!

Recipe Source: Disney Family

  • 1 bag jumbo marshmallows
  • Candy eyes
  • Zip-top bag (for piping)
  • Scissors
  • Chocolate icing
  • Orange candy for nose (like gumdrops)
  • 1 bag large marshmallows
  • 1 bag chocolate chips
  • Skewer
  • Black string licorice
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Vanilla icing
  • White sugar
  • Blue food coloring
  • Whipped cream
  • Blue sugar sprinkles

Helpful Tip

All cutting should be done by an adult.

  1. Olaf Marshmallows: Start by cutting your jumbo size marshmallows in half (you will need two halves for each snowman). Shape the edges of one of the halves to form more of an oblong shape for Olaf’s head. Save the other half to use as the base of his body.

  2. Next, fill your plastic bag with chocolate icing and cut a small hole in one corner to use as a piping bag. Use the icing to attach candy eyes and to create eyebrows and a smiling mouth. Grab your orange gumdrops and a pair of scissors and cut into small triangles for his nose. While you have your scissors out, cut a small rectangle from one of your marshmallow scraps for a tooth. Attach nose and tooth using chocolate icing.

  3. Next, grab the other half of your jumbo marshmallow and large marshmallow to build Olaf’s body. Using your chocolate icing, attach three chocolate chips as buttons. Once icing has dried (about five minutes) assemble Olaf on your skewer, starting with the larger body marshmallow and finishing with his head on top.

  4. Lastly, cut three 1” pieces from your licorice string and score one edge to create frayed hair and three fingers. Poke arms into the smaller body marshmallow and hair into the top of Olaf’s head.

  5. Milkshake: Start by blending milk and ice cream in blender until creamy (about one minute). Before pouring into glasses, rim the edges in vanilla icing using a blunt butter knife and sprinkle with sugar to give an icy appearance.

  6. Place a few drops of blue food coloring into the glasses to add a pop of color. Once glasses are filled, top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Finish off by adding your Olaf marshmallow creation and enjoy!
