Exactly the world even states are in lockdown! Where you can not go out unless you want to get arrested! We need to not panic and stay positive as best we can.

What happened to all thosee people who were saying this was just a run-of-the-mill cold?! They seem to know so much better than the rest of us.

Why did they all suddenly shut up when they were all so smart just a mere two weeks ago?!

I thought we were all supposed to listen to them instead of science. Ohhh… I’m so confused.

I never said it was i said my family and i were sick for 3 wks thats why we wonder if what we had was this before it got named! But we came out of it alive! But my son almost stop breathing and my aunt whom has a bad immune system got hit worse! So while we are ok i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy! It just irony that more people i run into are like i think i had it too! But again not saying its a cold if anything i equate it to a flu that never gave up or pneumonia! Would i be panicking its the end of the world holding tp or saying the walking dead is right NO! But is it something to be aware of and have concern for YES!

Businesses line Disney World wait to publicly announce closures in order to retain as much revenue as possible. Like airlines, if a customer cancels dates, the customer doesn’t get a refund (just a credit), and Disney ensures it keeps revenue while offering the customer a credit. By delaying announcements of closures, Disney puts itself in a stronger position to retain as much revenue as possible. I have tickets for 4/3-4/5 and will not be attending, but I have not cancelled as that only gives me a credit at this time. Once Disney officially announced closures for April, I will be able to get a refund instead of a credit (same with my flights).

This is simply incorrect. Walt Disney World and Disneyland are extending tickets, not refunding them. This is very clear in the language posted on both the WDW and DL resort websites. Hotel bookings are being refunded, but again, park tickets are not being refunded and have instead had their validity dates extended.

I noticed the Disney app is not allowing modifications to dining reservations the month of April now, but my reservations on the beginning of May can still be modified. I think that’s my final hint of acceptance that April is already officially a no go

    1. Maybe. My travel for Disney is for may 5 to

China and cdc who knew and did nothing! Until now and now we have to wait to peak ! I just hope we are out of this by hurricane season i am in evac zone in fl and they are calling for bad hurricane and fire season! Whats going to happen when they go you must stay in bc of corona but must evac for safety! I just wish they would show us survival #s not to say we will be ok move on but to stop the end of the world panic!

I blame ALL of this on Bob Iger’s stupid Rise of the Resistance App.

      ALL OF THIS.

      1. Mark

And they are discussing even more virtual queue bs its very stupid they should open and open everything people are not going to come back in if your going to say you can come back but not on these rides! Little rude after being closed dont ya think!?

In reference to the employees and cast members on the cruise ships. Rumor has it they may tell them all they need to leave the ship now. I would hope not. Sending these people out into the world, traveling to get home because they have no other choice would seem irresponsible of Disney during this Stay In Place time.

Worried about cast members still being paid because they have families food, etc today.
