Looking for the perfect romantic date idea for your trip to Disney World? We’ve got you covered. One of our favorite Disney dates is painting at one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Here’s why you should try this fun activity on your next vacation.
You can choose from a variety of Disney resorts to paint at
Several resorts on Disney World property offer painting as one of the activities available for Disney guests. Also, keep in mind that you are allowed to participate in a painting class at any Disney resort without staying there. So you can book a stay at a value resort, such as Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and go painting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. You could paint while you’re staying at the resort, or you could book a painting reservation at a different resort for a chance to explore somewhere new.
Below are some of the resorts that offer painting as a recreational activity. Keep in mind that you can always call the resort ahead of time to ask if they will be offering painting when you are visiting Disney World.
- Wild About Painting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Win, Paint, Show at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
- Painting on de Bayou at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
- Canvas Painting on the Boards at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Painting in the Vineyard at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
How much does it cost?
The cost of painting at a Disney resort could determine whether or not you decide to add this activity to your vacation. But the price can also vary depending on the resort. For example, at Port Orleans French Quarter, it costs $35 per person for all guests age 12 and older. But at Animal Kingdom Lodge, the experience costs $50 per person, although guests 21 and older will receive an alcoholic beverage included with the painting session. Be sure to confirm the price before booking so you’re not met with sticker shock once it’s time to pay!
Also remember that no matter the price, you can paint whatever you want during the painting class at the resort hotels. While there are instructors to assist you, you can unleash your inner artist and create your own work of art to commemorate your magical vacation. Paint Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth at Epcot, Mickey Mouse, or your favorite creature from Animal Kingdom. So you’re going home with a canvas painting that you love, even though the experience may be pricey.
