Tequila!
Get the lime and salt ready because you are in for a real treat! From coast to coast, Disney Parks offers a wide variety of margaritas that will satisfy every tequila lover out there.
Looking to celebrate National Margarita Day with some of Disney’s best margaritas? Or maybe you just want a complete must try margarita guide to take on your next Disney vacation? Regardless, if you are a tequila lover than you have to check out these Disney margaritas the next time you are on property.
Walt Disney World Resort
Let’s start on the East coast for our official Disney margarita tour! From Epcot to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Walt Disney World Resort is filled with options for all of you tequila lovers.
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge
Located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, where Disney guests can opt to try not one but three different margaritas. The Citizens Take Flight offers a tasting of three margaritas — The Bucky Greenhorn’s Derby Margarita, the Melivan Macheezmo’s Mango Margarita, and the Ready Freddy Fiddlesticks Pomegranate Margarita.
A personal favorite of mine is the Blood Orange Margarita — It’s not featured on the menu but all you have to do is ask the bartender and they can make this special concoction for you.
La Cava del Tequila/Choza de Margarita
Of course, one of the most popular spots on Walt Disney World property is La Cava del Tequila — located inside the Mexico pavilion at Epcot.
While visiting the lounge, you can choose from a wide variety of cocktails. Sip on a delicious wild passion fruit margarita and snack on some chips and guacamole for the ultimate experience! But if the lounge is overly busy, I suggest checking out Choza de Margarita, just across the way.
Choza de Margarita has a wide variety of choices including frozen margaritas and hand-blended margaritas. A personal favorite is the Spicy Blackberry margarita, which is served on the rocks. But I also recommend the Wild Strawberry frozen margarita!
BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas
Over at Disney’s Boardwalk is Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas, which obviously offers marvelous margaritas and cocktails! Disney guests can try the Marvelous Watermelon Margarita, with Patrón Silver Tequila, watermelon, fresh lime juice and sweet and sour or the Frozen Grand Margarita with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila and Grand Marnier.
Dockside Margaritas
Our next step is over at Disney Springs, but keep in mind that this margarita spot is one of the most popular locations here.
We highly recommend The Sunset Margarita, which is made with Don Julio Resposado Tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, sweet and sour and orange juice. (Yum!)
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Also located in Disney Springs is Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar (one of my favorites!)
The theming here revolves around Indiana Jones’ sidekick and pilot. So make sure you gear up for a wild time with some adventure-inspired margaritas, like the Pancho’s Margarita, made with Don Julio Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier and fresh sweet and sour.
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto
This tropical tiki bar at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a must-visit location on Disney World property. I recommend the Rosita’s Margarita, which consists of Casamigos Reposado Tequila, Orange Curaçao, fresh lime juice, Falernum and organic agave nectar.
Pongu Pongu
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Na’vi created this amazing concoction, perfect for National Margarita Day! The Mo’ara Margarita is infused with strawberry and blood orange flavors and is topped with strawberry boba balls and a glowing Unadelta Seed!
Whispering Canyon Cafe
If you are looking for a good time, then head on over to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and stop by Whispering Canyon Cafe. This is where Disney guests can sip on a Moonshine Margarita, which is made with Troy & Sons Platinum Moonshine, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, fresh lime juice and agave nectar topped with soda water.
Disneyland Resort
Over on the West Coast, guests visiting Disneyland Resort should stop by this location for a delicious margarita!
Rita’s Baja Blenders
Located at Pacific Wharf is Rita’s Baja Blender, which is where Disney guests can try some delicious and fresh frozen margaritas, which come in either strawberry or lemon-lime!
Other options include the Habañero Margarita, the Blood Orange Margarita, or the Watermelon Margarita.
Taqueria at Tortilla Jo’s
Here, Disney guests can choose from over 15 different specialty margaritas, including the Pineapple-Cilantro Margarita, the Fresno-Mezcal Margarita, or the Spicy Mamacita Margarita. If you are looking for something a bit more traditional, Taqueria at Tortilla Jo’s also offers fruity flavors like pomegranate, strawberry-mint, blood orange, melon and, of course, lime!
As always, drink responsibly and cheers everyone!
