Have you always dreamed of a disney wedding? Maybe this destination wedding spotlight will give you some inspiration!
Karen and Alexander worked with their Disney Wedding Planner to create the wedding day of their dreams, which took place on the beautiful island of Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa.
With beautiful ocean views along the white-sand beach, authentic Hawaiian culture, and a stunning island backdrop, Karen and Alexander’s destination wedding was certainly one of a kind.
“We wanted a laid back, vacation vibe that was with our closest family and friends. Hawaii screamed relaxation to us and being able to have a wedding with the ease of the Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings family sealed the deal for us.”

The couple really wanted an intimate ceremony, which they were able to have at Lanikuhonua, which served for beautiful and gorgeous scenery for incredible wedding photos.
Framed with a rustic wooden arched, white chiffon, and hints of white and pink floral, Karen and Alexander’s wedding certainly blew guests away.
The white chairs were set up along each side of the floral aisle, which allowed the guests to take in the beautiful views of Lanikuhonua, which also served for the perfect backdrop.

Disney Weddings elaborates on why they love Laniuhonua for a wedding venue. “One of our favorite elements of Laniuhonua is the versatility of the venue. Couples can host their ceremony and reception just steps away from each other creating a seamless flow between the two events.” And that is exactly what Karen and Alexander did.
The couple decided to utilize the space so they could have one big celebration all in the same location, making it not only easier for themselves but for the guests as well.
When the wedding guests arrived, they were instantly greeted with a beautiful and classic white dance floor, lined with lanterns and bistro lighting. A chandelier was hung over the sweetheart table to complete the look and bring this entire wedding together perfectly.
“My husband and I really wanted the wedding to be a celebration of all of the friends and family who had been through our journey with us to thank them and show them how much we truly appreciated their influence in our relationship.”
Karen and Alexander wanted to offer a bit of advice to some future Disney Weddings’ couples: “I would recommend to any future Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings’ couples to really grasp an idea of what you want for your wedding day for your spouse and you before you jump headfirst into planning.”
