When chopek did alot of the d23 updates for epcot etc it was obvious but as a park person whom seen how hes taken care of the parks very excited to see how he does overall!
this is a disaster waiting to happen. worst possible choice. they had a perfect option in catherine powell, who they scapegoated into taking the fall for the poor opening of SWGE, when all along that was chapek’s project. get ready for quality drop in favor of fast profit.
I was working closely with The Walt Disney Company when he was leading Consumer Products. He drove changes in the Disney Stores that brought them back to life, and invested heavily in technology that positioned CP well for the future. He had a lot of respect from the folks working in CP, and I had a great deal of respect for his leadership. I hope he does well for the Company overall; I think he’s got the right chops.
