Attention all Potterheads! Inside the Magic has just received word that “Hogwarts” is in dire need of an all-around wizarding professor.

The position’s official location is at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. The filming location for several of the major scenes in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Responsibilities include teaching broomstick flying for beginners, witch pottery, as well as teaching about non-wizarding life.

Like any proper teacher, Alnwick Castle is searching for someone “authoritative yet approachable, with a good reputation in the magic world and competent broomstick flying skills.” A strong understanding of magic and the ability to demonstrate high-level magical skills are essential, but O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. marks are not required.
