I couldn’t agree with you more. To be quite frank, the pieces fall into place so perfectly that it would be almost criminal not to follow it to its logical end. One of the major issues I’ve had with the latest movies is there unwillingness to incorporate more of what has been added to the overall Jedi saga by the shows. If “baby Yoda” (who needs a name STAT) doesn’t inherit the darksaber, I will be extremely disappointed. If I can take it a step further, I would say that if a “teenage” version of the character doesn’t make an appearance in the rumored Rae trilogy, I will be majorly disappointed. (Along with Ezra and Ahsoka.)
