Where you’ve said that they breathed new life into Dumbo…no they didn’t! They sapped everything out of the original so that the remake was an insipid pale nod. It was always inevitable that ‘Bambi’ would be an upcoming victim of remakes. The only one I’m keen to see it ‘Mulan’ the rest I’m really not bothered about seeing and I’m a mahoosive Disnerd, but I also like originality, and Disney always led the forefront of storytelling, not rehashing. Out of the remakes so far there’s only ‘The Lion King’ I didn’t mind, but wasn’t a patch on the original. Disney just needs to focus on getting ‘Raya’ completed and whatever comes next (so long as it’s not a sequel!)

I am tired of live-action remakes. I did see The Lion King, but skipped (and will probably skip) the future ones.
