We’ve seen so many holiday treats so far this season at Walt Disney World, but cotton candy in the shape of a Santa hat has got to be our new favorite! Here are all the details on where you can find this awesome new dessert!
The Santa hat cotton candy is the latest and most festive creation by Wenbo Zhang, the cotton candy artist at Epcot known for his unique and beautiful cotton candy creations. Zhang made thousands of guests line up for his famous cotton candy flowers during Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival, and while the Santa hat isn’t nearly as large as the cotton candy flower, we think this offering for the International Festival of the Holidays is still worth a purchase.
While this treat is adorable to look at, it just tastes like regular cotton candy. The special quality is the shape and design of the candy — but you won’t find any peppermint, crushed candy canes, white chocolate, or hot cocoa flavor in this treat.
The Santa hat cotton candy is currently being sold at the House of Good Fortune in the China pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. While you’re probably going to have to wait in line to purchase this, it’s worth it, even just for the adorable photo you’ll get to take! It costs $15.00 and is sold every day of the week, except for Wednesdays. Also keep in mind that it is only sold during certain times of the day, although those times are subject to change. Our tip is to head to the China pavilion when the World Showcase opens for the day and ask for the schedule — that way you know when to line up for this festive snack!
