Watch the #DisneyParksLIVE stream beginning at 9:55 a.m. (EST) on Monday, December 16 and kick off the newest accommodations to open at the Walt Disney World Resort. Included in this live event are the resort’s dedication ceremony that will be complemented by live music inspired by the European Riviera. The resort will also be the newest Disney Vacation Club hotel on Walt Disney World Property.
We’ve been excited to see what the latest Disney resort will have to offer since the concept art for this property debuted earlier this year, and we can’t wait to see the finished product. Along with upscale rooms to accommodate Disney Vacation Club guests, the resort will come with unprecedented levels of detail in European-inspired artwork and multiple restaurants and amenities. Imagineers found inspiration for the resort in 19th and 20th century artwork from around the European Riviera, and guests can expect this theme to be carried throughout the entire resort from guest rooms to pool areas and more.
As for dining options at the resort, we’ve already shared the details for both Primo Piatto, the resort’s unique new quick service location open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with the highly anticipated Topolino’s Terrace restaurant. Inspired by Walt Disney and his wife Lillian’s travels through Europe, Topolino Terrace will bring additional rooftop dining to the Walt Disney World Resort, no doubt offering some spectacular views of the surrounding park areas (fireworks, anyone?) The menu is heavily focused on meats, fresh vegetables, and seafood entrees all with a European flare, and we cannot wait to give it a try.
