We ran into several of these families last year. Such a neat experience for them and neat to hear their stories while waiting in line.
A guy in one of the Disney facebook groups I belong to ran into Gary Sinise in Hollywood Studios and said he is the nicest man. My Cousin is retired from the Navy and has seen Gary several times, and says he’s exactly as nice and caring as we see.
I LOVE this man, he is truly a great human being. Last, year I saw the families in Epcot. And a week later I watched him narrate the Candlelight Processional. I stood in the standing room only area. Before the finale, Gary asked for the houselights to come up.. he asked all Military Members to stand to be honored, followed by First Responders, and then he thanked all of us standing. This year I am seeing him and doing the Candlelight Processional Dining.
My children and I were fortune to be one of the gold star families in attendance. This was truly an amazing experience. We felt so much love in Disney World and are looking forward to going back again this year!
