The buzz over “Toy Story 4” may have settled down a bit since the film’s release earlier this summer. However, this didn’t stop this artist from creating these amazingly themed Air Jordan 4 sneakers after the beloved Disney/Pixar film.
Luh – Ron, who goes by noralthecobbler on Instagram creates custom shoes for sneaker enthusiasts looking to have their own styled shoe that falls away from the mainstream. And recently, this artist was feeling inspired by the popular apparel brand Supreme and this toy-filled animated film, which birthed this remarkable shoe.
On Instagram, the artist shared that the shoes were made from denim he distressed himself, cow print atop of pony hair, yellow lambskin, which he used to replicate Woody’s shirt and brown Crocs to represent Woody’s cowboy boots. When considering Woody’s iconic sheriff badge, the artist wanted to take it a step further with his own spin on “toy”-theming and found a rare Toy Story LEGO star, which he attached to the top of the left sneaker.
Of course, how might one finish off a “Toy Story” shoe you ask? With “ANDY” written on the bottom in marker, similar to Woody’s boot in the film!
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen inspiration for sneakers from “Toy Story 4.” In June, Reebok dropped their own “Toy Story”-themed kicks.
The new shoes are Reebok’s latest iteration of the Instapump Fury model and are designed in the colors of two of the most beloved toys from Andy’s toy box: Buzz Lightyear and Woody. The release came as a three-way collaboration between Disney/Pixar, Reebok and BAIT.
Each sneaker comes in mismatching colors for each foot. The left side is designed in colors of purple and green, to reference Buzz Lightyear, and the right side features the palettes of yellow, white, blue denim and cowhide, to reference Woody.
