Disneyland’s Main Street Street Electrical Parade is back and the chefs at the Disneyland Resort have come up with new foods inspired by the iconic parade that is loved by millions.
The Parade will run August 2 through September 30, 2019, so there is plenty of time to try out these fun and delicious sweet and savory items. You will want them all. Here is a list of the items and locations at Disneyland park where you can find them all. And don’t forget to use Mobile ordering (for some locations) to reduce your time in line.
Candy Palace
Candy Palace is the place to be for these amazing treats which include, “Main Street Electrical Parade” Crispy Treat, Mickey-shaped dipped in vanilla-flavored chocolate and multi-colored sprinkles and of course a Main Street Electrical Parade chocolate logo. The Caterpillar Marshmallow Wand is coated in caramel, dipped in vanilla-flavored chocolate and dark and white chocolate with colored sugar. Next, is the Lady Bug Vanilla Cake Pop which is dipped in cherry-flavored chocolate and decorated with dark chocolate and colored sugar. And finally, the Snail Cake Pop includes a vanilla cake pop dipped in watermelon-flavored chocolate and decorated with black licorice, red chocolate, and colored sugar. Yum!
Carnation Cafe
Carnation Café which is also located on Main Street at Disneyland Park, has a new Raspberry Lemonade Shake that includes raspberry lemonade with vanilla ice cream. For those looking for a great meal, don’t forget to try the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with pepper-Jack cheese, creamy mustard slaw, and cilantro. This is also served with fries.
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor which has Mobile Ordering available via the Disneyland App, and will save you time instead of waiting in line has a few new treats you want to try during this warm summer season. First is the Fantasia Ice Cream a blend of cherry, pistachio, and banana ice cream featuring chipped pistachios and cherries. Or you might want to get this treat instead, the Fantasia Waffle Bowl Sundae filled with Fantasia ice cream, caramel sauce, multi-colored chocolate candy, whipped cream and of course topped with a cherry.
The Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
The Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe which also features Mobile Ordering via the Disneyland App has created some sweets that will tickle your fancy. The Lady Bug Macaron is a red and black ladybug macaron shell filled with strawberry buttercream, strawberry marmalade, and freeze-dried strawberry flecks. Or you can try the Pineapple Coconut Parfait (pictured above) loaded with layers of coconut jelly, strawberry filling, and pineapple mouse. Can’t wait to try that one! And finally the Cheshire Cat Linzer Cookie with strawberry gel for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Refreshment Corner
If you are looking for a quick snack or a late-night food run, Refreshment Corner is the place to be. Mobile Ordering is available via the Disneyland App. The new items include a Firefly Hot Dog which is an all-beef hot dog topped with chili, shredded cheese, fried corn chips, and jalapeños. Talk about spicy. Don’t forget the Firefly Chips which is topped with chili, cheese, and jalapeños. And Finally, the Chili Mac Bread Bowl is a sourdough bread bowl filled with chili mac and cheese. These items will surely warm you up!
Plaza Inn on Main Street
Plaza Inn on Main Street which is known for it’s famous Fried Chicken will feature a Main Street Electrical Parade cake, topped with cream cheese frosting, mixed berry marmalade and finished off with sprinkles and chocolate logo.
While you are waiting for the Parade, various carts throughout the route will have this limited time Main Street Electrical Parade Popcorn Bucket which is also refillable for $1.50 on day of purchase and with a valid receipt. This popcorn bucket will be available in mid-august while supplies last.
