Becky thank you for sharing your story i am also a mom to sp needs. Das or gac to some as it was once called is a wonderful tool i wish was brought back to its former glory so badly for all our needed benefits but many took advantage bc they knew it ment alt entrance but it still wrks wonders! My kid too has it bad w lines and lack of patience bc of his needs! I am so grateful as much as you are for the help we all get to prove to the world our kids might have needs but that doesn’t make them less of a person or helpless!

God bless you both harley and becky! Your a great example to parents everywhere! It takes strength hope and courage to be a parent it takes double or triple to be on to sp needs! I applaud you both and i applaud everyone like wdw whom helps achieve goals.

    2. Harley, I’m so glad you shared your experiences here too! Yes, the DAS is a wonderful thing, and I’m grateful that Disney was not only sensitive to such a need, but that within the parks, it’s so easy to get a DAS for those who truly need it.

And I couldn’t agree with you more–there’s nothing lesser or helpless about our kids. In fact, I’ve probably learned more from Sean than from anyone else. It’s always so good to read your comments! Thank you for being such a fan of Disney and of Inside the Magic!

Thank you for you sharing and by sharing we support each other! Disney is like my second home so i will always support any site thats supports the true magic!

  2. Mark, thank you for your kind words and support. I agree with you and I’m so thankful for Disney and their continued support of, and compassion for, those with special needs. I can’t imagine our lives without visiting Disney World, and Disney’s compassion for Guests with special needs is what makes that possible for families like mine. Have a very pleasant evening.

Bright suns… Becky and all of those w needs heads up if your going to “fly” into batuu while they are not allowing fps they are accepting “data pads with adjustments” so be polite when asking for your alt flight plan! I just thought i share!

They are definitely letting us use our DAS passes at Star Wars! I used mine when I went to the preview on August 18! Just an FYI!
