With amazing food, fun-filled parties, and exclusive offerings, now is the best time to be a Disney fan.
Disneyland Resort just revealed that they are letting a select group of people have private access to one of the resort’s most popular attractions. Here’s all you need to know.
From August 25 through 31, Disneyland Resort is giving annual passholders the opportunity of a private ride on Guardians of the Galaxy–Mission: Breakout! at Disney California Adventure. By private ride, Disney means that only annual passholders will be able to experience the attraction during that final hour of the theme park’s opening. So from 9-10 p.m. daily during the last week of August, only annual passholders will be able to experience Mission: Breakout! How awesome is that?

Disneyland Resort has shared that Guardians of the Galaxy–Mission: Breakout! is one of the most popular, if not the most popular, attraction in the entire resort. The attraction experiences high wait times daily, and it has remained a fan-favorite even after Disney was met with controversy for re-theming the attraction (you may remember that it used to be known as Tower of Terror).
Annual passholders who take advantage of this free private ride experience will also receive a free commemorative lithograph (one per passholder) while supplies last.
This offer is pretty enticing and definitely has us itching to get back to the parks to take advantage of it as many times as we can. Some report that this is one way Disney is looking to persuade guests back into its theme parks after a slower than average summer. While that may be the case, this is still a fantastic excuse for annual passholders to celebrate no longer being blocked out of the Happiest Place on Earth.
Hopefully, this private ride offer isn’t the last.
What do you think of Disney’s private ride offer for annual passholders: is it a ploy to lure Guests back to the theme parks, or is it a way to say thanks for being a fan? Let us know in the comments!
