For those not familiar with Disney Springs, it’s the ultimate stop for incredible Disney franchised merchandise, delectable restaurants, virtual entertainment and now, it’s also the home of this new limited-edition sipper!
The Japanese-inspired drink features the ultimate combination of violet lemonade, sake, prickly pear, and lime, which all comes together to make the perfect refreshing drink for a late afternoon shopping session at the springs! And for those with kids, fear not! The drink can be ordered without alcohol.
The drink also features the fun topping of Konpeito candy! The garnish comes from Japan and is traditionally found in a variety of flavors and is most reminiscent of gummy bears.
The Violet Sake Slush can be found at the YeSake kiosk, located in Disney Springs over by Planet Hollywood and the Orange garage. The drink is priced at $10 with alcohol and $8 without and is only available through September 2.
For those looking for other boozy ways to cool down at the Walt Disney World Resort, be sure to also check out King’s Cooler Dole Whip! The fun and fresh drink is made with the infusion of pineapple Dole Whip with rum topped with a red syrup made up of watermelon and coconut. The beverage can be found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at the park’s Tamu Tamu refreshments and dessert stand.
If you’re not 21 just yet, don’t fret! Tamu Tamu also offers the same beverage without the rum under the name Simba’s Sunset Dole Whip (pictured above).
