    Actually, Disney have now replied. They’ve said no because Walt Disney didn’t want his images associated with death. Of course, the fact that he made his money on the back of Bambi and the company now owns the Marvel characters who die all the time doesn’t count for a thing.

    But Disney has offered something for the family to keep instead. Not to go on his grave of course. God forbid a cartoon character loved by children should be used for a child’s grave. So Maidstone council aren’t the baddies here. Disney most definitely is.

    Maybe we should stop buying Disney bits of plastic for a while…
