Disney Parks Unveils New Shades Inspired by 3D Glasses!

in Apparel, Disney, Merchandise

Today Disney Parks announced a brand new line of attraction merchandise allowing guests to take home a little piece of their favorite 3D Attractions! Starting this summer guests can find a new dedicated line of sunglasses inspired by the many 3D Glasses found around the WDW Resort. From Opera Glasses to Bug Eyes, you’ll be able to find sunglasses in each attraction’s gift shop inspired by every ride’s unique take on the 3D glasses.

It’s Tough To Be A Bug Sunglasses

The best part about these new sunglasses is their secret dual purpose! That’s right, the polarization of the lenses was specially developed to both protect your eyes AND work as 3D Glasses for any attraction. Now you can forgo the community bin of 3D glasses and arm yourself with your own personal stylish pair.

Flight of Passage Sunglasses

The glasses will retail from $14.99 to $24.99 depending on the attraction, with Flight of Passage and Star Tours coming in on the high end at $24.99 while the more simplistic MuppetVision glasses will only be $14.99.

The glasses will start dropping in gift shops around WDW starting June 31st, 2019!

The list of attractions getting new 3D sunglasses includes:

  • Philarmagic
  • Muppetvision 3D
  • Star Tours
  • Flight of Passage
  • Toy Story Midway Mania
  • Pixar Film Festival

We are excited to pick up our first pair! How about you?
