"Scooby Doo" to come back to the big screen with Zac Efron

Wow!!!! After fifty loyal years of service, Warner Brothers are going to brush Frank Welker aside??????!! That is beyond disrespectfully. There is no one more worthy of voicing Fred Jones. Shame on WB and Zac Efron..

It’s also not fair what they are doing to Matthew Lillard, Grey DesLisle-Griffin, and Kate Micucci either. They’ve been voicing Shaggy, Daphne, and Velma, respectively, for a while now.

Personally, I think the idea that Daphne & Fred should be an item is just because they’re the 2 most attractive members of the gang, & that’s a boring reason to base a romance on. Much more intriguing if a beautiful heiress like Daphne were to go for a hippy like Shaggy, and handsome Fred go for an intellectual like Velma. Fred & Daphne together make me sick, honestly. Way too obvious, & they have as much chemistry as Luke & Leia, after those 2 found out they were twin siblings. When they started hinting at a Fred & Daphne pairing in “Zombie Island” & further projects, I stopped watching. For me, my Scooby canon ends at the original 13 Ghosts series (& not the follow up movie released this year.)

  3. Hello! I do enjoy the Scooby-Doo franchise and its characters. Those whom I’d like to see involved include: Scrappy-Doo, Touché Turtle & Dum-Dum, the Funky Phantom gang, Goober’s Ghostchasers gang, Butch Cassidy’s Sun Dance gang, the whole Charlie Chan clan, the animated Hardy Boys and their band (from Filmation), the Shmoo mystery comics gang, and P.I. Inch Eye’s outfit.

I Would love to see the smurfs again and not this crappy live action movie versions that had in the early 2010’s, those were the worst and nearly destroyed the legacy of the smurfs cartoon and comic strip and completely destroyed the legacy of the late peyo Clifford, let’s hope they do it right and clean up the mess.
