This spring a brand new boutique, Rinse Bath & Body Co., is arriving at the Downtown Disney District with products to pamper yourself from head to toe. “With handmade soaps, body oils, pucker stick lip balms, beard bars, bath, shower bombs and more, there will be so many refreshing and soothing scents to choose from! Perfect for use during a day in the parks is their organic sunscreen and Peppofoot for your feet,” says Disney.
What started as a hobby in 2002 has turned into a family business for founder and formulator, Heather Swanepel. After taking a soapmaking class, Heather learned by melting, mixing, and stirring soap until she uncovered her special concoction. She started making soap pounds at a time and gave it away to anyone who would take it. “As I was formulating recipes and experimenting with ingredients, I was perfecting my products. The people who I once had to beg to take products off my hands started making requests and insisting on paying for them,” said Heather.
In 2003, Rinse Bath & Body Co. was founded, and the operation has quickly developed into a popular brand of products being featured in many stores and spas across the country. Rinse’s products will also be available at Walt Disney World for the Food & Wine and Flower & Garden Festivals at Epcot.
“At their Rinse workshop in Monroe, Ga., the family handcrafts small batches of products to ensure quality and freshness. Using only the best, ethically sourced ingredients, Rinse’s collection of body products are 93 to 100 percent natural and will leave you looking and feeling fresh. The packaging has a vintage design and their affordable gift sets are great for any occasion,” says Disney.
Here’s more from the announcement:
Exclusive to the Downtown Disney District will be Rinse’s tub truffles, pure essential oils, diffusers, and the k9 Wash + Spray to keep your pets refreshed, as well as accessories and special gift sets.
The Rinse Bath & Body Co. shop will be located on the west end of the Downtown Disney District and will be the company’s first store in California. The design will have a rustic look with reclaimed woods, patina metals, galvanized buckets, and glass mercantile jars reminiscent of a country store.
