This year at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World, guests can experience all-new Holiday Disney PhotoPass opportunities that will have them posing with fun Christmas decorations and everyone’s favorite pixie, Tinker Bell!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off this season with its first event tomorrow night, Thursday, November 8. This event is where guests not only get to enjoy an exclusive nighttime stage show, parade and fireworks show, but also these new magical photo opportunities. Once you enter the party, be sure to locate the closest Disney PhotoPass photographer, because he or she will have the power to make your spirit even brighter with these merry photo opportunities.
To kick off the night, you may want to start with something sweet — maybe a Mickey Mouse Cookie Magic Shot? This sugary digital Magic Shot can be found in Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. And over by Cinderella Castle and on the bridges to Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland, guests can pose with one of the Christmas season’s most iconic treats, a Candy Cane.
This next photo opportunity will make you feel like you’ve taken part in one of the night’s greatest events, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. The new Magic Shot features the parade’s staple characters, including the Toy Soldiers on Main Street U.S.A., who will march into your shot in front of Cinderella Castle. And over at the entrance to the park, you can pose with the parade’s gingerbread man and reindeer.
If characters from Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade isn’t enough for you, another PhotoPass opportunity will include Disney characters from some of your favorite Disney movies! In an animated Magic Shot in front of Cinderella Castle, and over by Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland, Olaf from Disney’s “Frozen” will pop up to greet you and your family for the holidays. And on Main Street, U.S.A., Tinker Bell will fly high above you to sprinkle some fairy dust while posing with you and your loved ones.
If you’re interested in a more classic Christmas feel, make sure to look for the Mistletoe Magic Shot. This shot is perfect for couples looking to celebrate their love and the season. Another great shot for those looking for a more traditional Christmas pose is an animated Magic Shot featuring old Saint Nick himself.
At select stops around Magic Kingdom, photographers will have fun holiday props to pose with in your photos. One magical prop includes a Tinker Bell Lantern, which can be found in Fantasyland near Enchanted Tales with Belle.
If you know for certain that you want to keep all of your memories from this joyous night at the park, be sure to purchase Memory Maker One Day and apply the entitlement to the day you attended the party!
With Memory Maker One Day, you’ll receive digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos linked to your account that were taken on the one day of your choice. Memory Maker One Day is available in the My Disney Experience mobile app once you’ve linked at least one Disney PhotoPass photo to your account from the day to which you plan to apply the entitlement. You can also purchase it inside Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom Park.
