‘Tis the season for delicious treats at Downtown Disney District! Disneyland Resort offers countless delectable goodies every year when the holiday season rolls around. Now, Downtown Disney is offering even more sweet and savory eats for the holiday season.

Sweet Treats

Several locations throughout Downtown Disney are serving new and fan-favorite desserts in celebration of the holidays.

California Churro has created a new holiday flavor: the White Christmas Churro! This awesome treat is a traditional crispy churro covered with mint-flavored powdered sugar. It’s pretty much a beignet in churro form, and we’re all about it. California Churro’s sister company, Cotton Candy Creations, is also serving up some pretty amazing holiday sweets. Try the Peppermint, Candy Apple, and Hot Chocolate cotton candy buckets. You won’t regret it!

Kayla’s Cake is another dessert kiosk located in Downtown Disney, and they’re becoming an absolute hit among Disneyland fans. The sweets company is offering Christmas Snowman and Gingerbread Macarons at their kiosk, and we think these are almost too cute to eat. Kayla’s Cake also has a dessert stand in Disney California Adventure near Pacific Wharf and all of the other food kiosks for Festival of Holidays, so check them out!

Salt & Straw, the gourmet ice cream shop that opened in Downtown Disney in late 2018, is known for their unique flavors. They are offering several seasonal flavors to get you in the holiday spirit. Try Gingerbread Cookie Dough, Peppermint Bark Mocha, and Cinnamon Coconut Eggnog, if you’re feeling like a sweet seasonal treat during your stay at Disneyland Resort.

Starbucks at Downtown Disney is also offering their classic seasonal drinks and bites. Try the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish with a delicious drink like the Gingerbread Latte, or purchase a bag of the Christmas Blend Espresso Roast. We love stopping by Starbucks on our way in and out of the theme parks, and we’re so excited that Disney announced the upcoming reopening of the Starbucks West, the second location at Downtown Disney. This store will reopen soon where it was formerly located across from the Downtown Disney Monorail station, and we can’t wait.

For another classic sweet treat, try the Cin-A-Bitz with Sweet Glaze from Wetzel’s Pretzels, an awesome fan-favorite snack stop at Downtown Disney. These pretzel bites are glazed with sugar and cinnamon, and we love them. They’re served all year, but something about their sugar-and-spice flavor makes us crave them every holiday season.

Sprinkles Cupcakes at Downtown Disney is also offering some amazing seasonal flavors in honor of the holidays. Throughout November and December, you can try various flavors like Chocolate Peppermint, Gingerbread, Pumpkin Pecan Pie, and Double Stuffed Oreo.

Savory Eats

We always think of dessert when the holidays come around, but we can’t forget about the amazing savory foods, too!

Earl of Sandwich is serving a limited-edition Holiday Ham Sandwich. This decadent meal is a ham sandwich with cheddar cheese, mashed yams, and cranberry sauce. This is an awesome new holiday option for fans of the Holiday Sandwich, a classic meal with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. We suggest you visit Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney with a friend and order both holiday sandwiches so you can share!

For even more savory dining options, head to Catal Restaurant for a three-course meal on Thanksgiving Day. The meal will include your choice of a seasonal squash soup or smoked salmon toast, a savory entrée, and a decadent butterscotch pot de crème for dessert. We don’t want you to pass this one up!

With awesome entertainment, beautiful décor, and amazing food, you won’t want to skip a visit to Downtown Disney on your next trip to Disneyland Resort.

Which of these holiday treats will you pick up on your next Disneyland Resort visit this holiday season?
