Last night, Tom Holland swung by ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for a special comical appearance in which he officially debuted his new Spidey suit coming to Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC’s late-night talk show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, never ceases to entertain viewers with its comical skits featuring major celebrities. And last night, the show featured a visit from Tom Holland, who hilariously got in a fight with Kimmel’s comedic sidekick, Guillermo.
WATCH – GUILLERMO VS SPIDER-MAN TOM HOLLAND:
In the skit, Guillermo came on stage in Holland’s Spider-Man mask, making actions with his hands of shooting web, similar to Spider-Man. After several failed attempts by Guillermo of swinging from the rafters of the show’s live studio audience, Holland came on stage in his new threads from the next adaption in Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man films, and a traffic cone, to hide his identity.
During the appearance by Holland, no mention of the new threads was made and instead Kimmel made fun of the star for not using his “Spidey senses” to have prevented Guillermo from stealing his mask. Holland replied, “He didn’t find Guillermo much of a threat.”
Earlier this week, Holland announced via his official Instagram account that filming for the upcoming “Spider-Man: Far From Home” had officially wrapped. Other than this status update of the film, no new news of the film’s characters or plot has been released.
Original Story:
Over the weekend, during the filming of Marvel Studios’ next Spider-Man film, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” Tom Holland was spotted sporting a new Spidey suit, which will debut in the film next summer.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home,” the sequel to “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” first began shooting overseas earlier this year. As of now, not many details have been revealed about the upcoming film, other than the fact it will take place following the events of the next Avengers film (premiering in May 2019), with Peter Parker and his friends traveling to Europe on summer vacation. But over the weekend, thanks to photos published on Twitter from the film’s set, it’s been revealed that the web slinger will be rocking some new threads in the coming film.

The new images show Peter Parker in a darker and sleeker new suit in the colors red and black, swapping out the iconic and well-known red and blue color scheme. The last time Spider-Man was seen in red and black was during the original run of the Superior Spider-Man comics, which first ran in print from January 2013 – August 2014.
Besides Holland, the images on Twitter also give a preview of Michelle Jones, played by Zendaya. Other stars that will appear in “Spider-Man: Far From Home” include Marisa Tomei (May Parker), Jake Gyllenhaal (Quentin Beck/Mysterio), Jacob Batalon (Ned), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill). Most notably, Gyllenhaal will be taking on the role of Quentin Beck (Mysterio), a famous villain from the original Marvel comic books, who will be making his cinematic debut in this new film.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home” is set to swing into theaters July 5, 2019, two months after the premiere of the untitled Avengers 4 film.
