“DuckTales” Season 3 announced for Disney Channel in 2019

The second season of “DuckTales” premieres next month on Disney Channel, and you can already look forward to “DuckTales” season 3 next year!

The hit series features the voices of David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck, Bobby Moynihan as Louie, Ben Schwartz as Dewey, Danny Pudi as Huey, Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack, Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack, Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley, and Tony Anselmo as the legendary Donald Duck.

To celebrate the third season renewal, Moynihan, Schwartz, and Pudi got together in the recording booth for the first time to voice their roles as the troublemaking triplets. David Tennant also joined the fun from a recording booth in London, England. The simultaneous recording session didn’t go off without a hitch, however. Take a look in the video below.

Frank Angones, who is a Co-Producer, Writer, and Story Editor for “DuckTales,” shared his excitement about the news and the upcoming second season.

In May, the cast of “DuckTales” took part in a full table read of episode 13, “McMystery of McDuck McManor,” at Disneyland Resort. You can watch the fun-filled event in our video below.

“DuckTales” originally premiered on DisneyXD in 2017 before moving to Disney Channel. The animated show, which is a reboot of the 1987 series, proved to be a hit with critics and audiences alike. The series also features the voices of Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jim Rash, Catherine Tate, Don Cheadle, Allison Janney, and Jaime Camil, among others. Paget Brewster, who originated the voice role of Della Duck in the season one finale, joins the cast as a recurring character for season two.

We have a while to wait for season three, but luckily the second season of “DuckTales” arrives on Saturday, October 20 at 7:30 AM ET/PT on Disney Channel, DisneyNOW, and Disney Channel VOD.
