Disney-themed games

Google Home has become a popular virtual personal assistant since it launched in 2016, letting users control smart appliances, listen to music, receive news updates and more. But did you know it also offers a way for Disney-loving kids and adults to enjoy interactive playtime with Disney-themed games?

Three new Disney games have been added to the device, inviting users to go on virtual adventures with Maui from “Moana,” Woody and Jessie from the “Toy Story” films, and five Disney Princesses. The following games have just been added to the device:

  • Play Maui’s Music Game: Help Maui find Moana and navigate an undersea world. Defeat the monsters and get rewarded with magical conch shells that play music from Moana and Maui’s adventure.
  • Play Toy Story Freeze Dance: Become one of Andy’s new toys and follow Jessie’s dance moves.
  • Play Disney Princess: A princess—you can choose from Belle, Ariel, Tiana, Jasmine, and Cinderella—will tell you a story or take you on an adventure.

As the videos above demonstrate, the Disney-themed games are a fun way for the whole family to get involved in a dance party, listen to bedtime stories, and interact with Disney characters at home. Our resident Disney-loving kid was particularly interested in playing Toy Story Freeze Dance.

In addition to these three new games, users can play the following previously released options: Mickey Mouse Adventure, Belle’s Castle Adventure and Cars Adventure. Plus, test your knowledge of The Force with Star Wars Trivia.

To give your kids access to the Assistant on Google Home, create an account for children under 13 years old using the Family Link app. Then, link their Google Account and voice to Google Home.

If you don’t yet own Google Home, the standard device costs $129. There’s also a Google Home Mini for $49 or Google Home Max for $399. For more information, visit the Google store here.
