in Disney, Entertainment, Movies & TV

This summer has been a big one for Marvel. Not only did “Avengers: Infinity War” from the Disney-owned Marvel Studios’smash box office records, but 20th Century Fox’s “Deadpool 2” also expanded perhaps the most popular R-rated film franchise of all-time.

Of course, no matter how much success a film sees or how much praise it receives, it’s never safe from Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailers. Both “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Deadpool 2” are the latest victims of the popular YouTube series.

WATCH – HONEST TRAILERS “AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR”:

The hilarious “Avengers: Infinity War” Honest Trailer above comically points out some of the unique interactions between characters and how some of them can’t deal with others stealing their thunder (pun intended). It also points out inconsistencies in Thanos over the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and his unique way of “doing it himself.”

The Honest Trailer for “Deadpool 2” references “Avengers: Infinity War” but then takes a very expected turn when Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds, takes over and does an Honest Trailer for Honest Trailers.

WATCH – HONEST TRAILERS “DEADPOOL 2”:

This isn’t the first time Reynolds-as-Deadpool has hijacked this series. The Merc with a Mouth also took over for the Honest Trailer of “Deadpool.” Reynolds goes on to reference Disney and more specifically “Coco,” calling for Honest Trailers to be harsh Disney-Pixar’s animated hit. Reynolds also claims the series peaked with their video on Disney’s “Frozen.”

You can judge just how accurate both of these Honest Trailers are as both “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Deadpool 2” are available on digital, DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD now.
