It’s official, you can now eat your way around the world at Walt Disney World’s Epcot as 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival has just kicked off today!

Starting today, guests to Walt Disney World can now enjoy over 30 destinations located throughout Epcot, which offer unique dishes and beverages inspired by cultures from around the world. This is in addition to celebrity chefs, pairing seminars, culinary demonstrations, beverage seminars, cheese seminars and tons of other experiences, including the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

Some highlights from these unique food destinations at this year’s festival include the following:

  • The Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak from Flavors from Fire Marketplace in Future World. The steak comes on a smoked corn cake with pickled vegetable slaw and cilantro aioli.
  • Butternut Squash Ravioli with brown butter vinaigrette, parmesan cheese and pumpkin seeds. This dish can be found at the Wine & Dine Studio Marketplace also located in Future World.

If you’re feeling thirsty, you can stop by the brand-new Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar, which can be found in the festival Center. Here guests can get the perfect morning pick-me-up, especially when paired with a chocolate or almond croissant or a cheese danish with sweet icing.

Guests to the festival can commemorate their visit with a selection of limited-edition event merchandise. This year, specially-designed merchandise will let guests recreate their tasting-around-the-world experience from home with cookbooks and apparel, tabletop and kitchen goods and new Chef Mickey Mouse artwork.

New merchandise to this year’s festival includes a ceramic pie plate, wooden pepper mill, bottle-shaped cutting board, and a serving dish that gives a nod to Mickey Mouse. These items and more can be found at the Festival Center, located adjacent to Mission: SPACE and in select merchandise locations throughout Epcot.

2018 Epcot international Food & Wine Festival runs today through November 12, 2018. Upon arrival, don’t forget to grab a festival Passport, it will help you find all of the unique eats around the world.
