That is… really poor statistics. I4 is one of the shortest interstates and it has more cities per mile than any other (except the 3-digit interstates). They’re averaging crashes per mile on I95 over ALL the miles from Miami to Maine?? I’d bet if you focused on the Miami portion it would be way deadlier than the Charleston to Virginia Beach portion. I mean, if you consider that I-10 is over 3000 miles long and passes through the loneliest parts of Texas, it seems that there must be some parts which are way more dangerous than Orlando to bring it as high as # 6 on average.
