It has been a few months now since the closing of Disney Quest at Disney Springs back in July. Today, Disney released a first look at some concept art for the NBA Experience, which will be replacing the old attraction.
The new building’s design was inspired by the architecture of NBA stadiums around the country and the venue will provide the same amount of energy as an NBA game.
“We are inspired by the design of the new building and the energy that it will bring to the West Side of Disney Springs,” said Maribeth Bisienere, Senior Vice President of Disney Springs and ESPN Wide World of Sports.
The new attraction will feature interactive games and competitions, immersive experiences, a retail store and an adjacent restaurant.
“This one-of-a-kind experience is sure to be enjoyed by basketball and Disney fans of all ages who visit Disney Springs from around the world,” said NBA President, Global Partnerships Sal LaRocca.
The NBA Experience will open at Disney Springs Summer 2019.
