Back in April, news got out that Club 33— Walt Disney’s famous private club inside Disneyland’s New Orleans Square since 1967– would be making its way to Walt Disney World in Florida.
In the newly-released fall issue of the Disney Vacation Club’s official magazine Disney Files, the company has made the first public confirmation of Club 33’s Orlando debut: “Club 33, the private club dreamed up by Walt Disney for 33 Royal Street in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park and since expanded to Tokyo Disney Resort and Shanghai Disney Resort, is coming soon to Walt Disney World Resort.”
Florida’s Club 33 members will have access to four private locations inspired by Walt’s worldly adventures with his beloved wife, Lillian.” No further information has been released about where exactly these clubs will be located within the resort, but an easy assumption would be one for each park at Walt Disney World– Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Sadly, other than “coming soon,” there’s no information currently available as to when exactly the four Club 33 locations will open at Walt Disney World, but the three existing clubs around the world are currently welcoming guests… if you can manage to snag yourself an ultra-exclusive membership, that is. There’s a 14-year waiting list for the original Club 33 at Disneyland in Anaheim.
