Lego and Disney have cultivated a profitable relationship lately, with the recent releases of the Lego Disney Minifigures series and the Lego Disney Castle, and that trend doesn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon.
Yesterday Lego announced two cool-looking new “Beauty and the Beast” brick-built figures from their new BrickHeadz collection, inspired by the classic Disney animated feature “Beauty and the Beast” and the upcoming live-action reimagining of the same. Check them out:
The BrickHeadz line seems at first glance to be Lego’s attempt to cash in on the Pop! Vinyl figures phenomenon of the past few years, as they’re roughly the same size and have a similarly stylized design quality to them.
Whatever the case, each BrickHeadz figure retails for $9.99 and will be available to the general public on March 1st, and two weeks earlier on February 15th for Lego VIP members. Be sure to visit the official Lego website for more information.
