Is laying off a maximum of 9 people in a division that employs 1700 really that newsworthy? The staffing size has to change by that many people monthly.
Ok I read the Orlando sentinel article (which I guess has been updated since I last read it) and it says it was the PERCENT of jobs lost – not the number. Big difference.
