Thank you for this post. We just moved our youngest to Orlando on June 1st and as hard as it was to leave her there, then have this happen, it’s been a joy to watch the Orlando community come together to support the victims and their families. We’ve donated money and she’ll be donating blood and we hope it will be of some small help in the midst of this horrific devastation and hatred. Your post gives me hope.

Thank you for sharing this. I lived in Orlando for 20 years (just recently moved b/c of work reasons). While I was not born there, Orlando is the town I call home. While still stunned and hurt from what happened, I am encouraged, comforted and proud of what the family of my town has endured and pulled together to accomplish. I am NOT surprised at all though – living in this diverse community taught me to love, respect and appreciate differences and allowed to befriend some of the most amazing people in the world.

Thank you for donating and supporting.
