    I remember writing Lloyd Alexander about the ’85 animated film and asking “….Did YOU like it??”
    He said it was…okay, a nice afternoon with his grandchildren, but the scope should have been a live-action film.

    (And yes, sounds like post-Tolkien envy mixed with the new stubbornness to do EVERY single entry in a YA book series. If Insurgent and Maze Runner can get three movies and counting, five Prydain novels should be no problem.)
