Multiple Walt Disney World attractions, restaurants, and resort pools closing for refurbishment starting in January

Walt Disney World plans on closing a few attractions and restaurants and certain areas at resorts starting this month for refurbishment and updates.

Magic Kingdom:
Splash Mountain – Closed January 10, 2016 to January 14, 2016
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – Closed January 18, 2016 to February 11, 2016
Liberty Square Riverboat – Closed January 18, 2016 to January 22, 2016
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin – Closed January 25, 2016 to February 03, 2016

Epcot:
Soarin’ – Closed January 04, 2016, reopening date Summer of 2016

Animal Kingdom:
Maharajah Jungle Trek – Closed January 04, 2016 to January 20, 2016
Kali River Rapids – Closed January 04, 2016 to February 11, 2016
Flights of Wonder – Closed January 25, 2016 to March 18, 2016

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
Pizza Planet – Closed January 19, 2016 to November 07, 2016

Disney Springs:
Planet Hollywood – Closed January 06, 2016 to September 01, 2016

Water Parks:
Typhoon Lagoon – Closed January 03, 2016 to March 12, 2016

Resorts:
Disney’s All Star Sports Resort – Surfboard Bay Pool closed January 25, 2016 to January 28, 2016
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside – The Ol’ Man Island feature pool closed January 11, 2016 to February 29, 2016
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort – Multiple closings of pools (Jamaica Village Pool, Martinique Village Pool, Fuentes del Morro, Trinidad North Pool) with a progression of closures and openings starting January 6, 2016.
