We made a visit to Downtown Disney this week and if you missed our live updates here is a little recap for you.
The new overpass leading into the Downtown Disney West Side parking garage is now open.
Likewise, the new pedestrian bridge recently opened.
Signage in the new parking garage now label the old Pleasure Island section as The Landing.
As soon as you get off the escalators and enter Downtown Disney West Side you can spot the construction for the the Town Center.
The Starbucks location makes for a pretty view.
Heading towards The Landing you can see that the new STK restaurant construction is coming along nicely.
Opposite STK the Edison construction is also progressing.
In the new area The Landing we this week had some new openings like this dock for the water taxi service.
The Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar also opened this week.
The restaurant Morimoto Asia is next to have its grand opening on Sept 30th and cast member previews are already in full swing.
The construction for the new area, Town Center, reaches all the way into The Landing.
The Lady and the Tramp topiary from Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival has now moved to Downtown Disney.
LEGO dragon is still a favorite photo spot for visitors.
The World of Disney store is also undergoing some major changes with an expansion coming up. They are also redesigning and switching around a lot of the rooms.
Star Wars The Force Awakens merchandise has a huge presence in the store.
A new Frozen Elsa medium figurine.
Inside World of Disney you can now find this concept art showcasing a future look at the entertainment complex.
