I really dislike the current look of the Mickey shorts. This ugly “Nicky look” seems to be trending right now, with Bugs Bunny and Scooby-Doo following suit.

Also, I wish Disney would show more love for Gargoyles, DuckTales, Talespin and Darkwing Duck. 🙂

My first thought watching the “new” Mickey shorts was “Wait, is John K. working for Disney now?…And if he is, uh, can we kill him?” 🙂

And just because Disney is beating Phineas & Ferb to death because it’s the first cable toon of theirs we’ve remembered since the Lilo & Stitch series doesn’t make it a “classic”…
On the contrary, it reminds us how much “Team Atlantis” should have been a series, and why the Aladdin & Hercules series aren’t on disk yet.

I disagree. The Mickey shorts have a great look to them and it fits the series very well.
