    What about Hollywood??

Didn’t they already announce Halloween as well?

    1. Ricky Brigante

Not officially. The Halloween franchise web site, Twitter, and Facebook posted the announcement early, then took it down a couple hours later. That will surely be the final official house announcement soon.

If Colonial Williamsburg did the “Roanoke Cannibal” maze for a Halloween attraction, it’d be considered tasteless.
There are a LOT of archeological theories about what happened, but turning it into a wacky horror-fan amusement-park legend just based on a couple of revisionist theories is a little too squicky for the fun.

Halloween Horror nights is the #1 hands down attraction to attend, and has been so for 24 years. I understand you may be offended as Horror movies often offend those not partaking in the genre. However sir don’t dog on HHN. Believe it or not Disney fans can like Horror too. I am not some sick minded person but I do look forward to seeing those cannibal pilgrims ripping people apart and coming after me 🙂

And Ricky this is my first comment on this page but I have listened to the pod cast for two years now and myself and mine love it weekly. Keep up the good work!

Fan: “Offend one of us, you offend ALL of us!” Noooo, JJW I wasn’t picking on “all” of HHN.

My point was, yes, I know, somebody’s been watching “Ravenous” and probably couldn’t get the rights, but that movie at least had a supernatural REASON why the settlers (not “pilgrims”, they were farther north) were turning into raving cannibals.
Here, using even just a -theory- of historical starvation that they saw on National Geographic Channel as an excuse to borrow horror-movie licks is turning tragedy into camp, for the historically illiterate. (And if JJW wants to think I’m putting “All HHN fans” in -that- basket, he might not be far off.)

yea what do I know, after all I only majored in United States History and teach High School. I’m sorry it’s too hard for you to believe that maybe just MAYBE this will be a fun maze “historically illiterate” maze. I hope you have a great time at HHN Eric either inside the park or outside the gate with your picket sign.

and thus the over analyzing begins…
