How long will this press tour last and will the public be allowed to enter as well? My 10yr old daughter and I will be there on 6-20-14 & 6-21-14. We r huge fans, have park hopper passes and would LOVE to see it!!!

      I sure hope so!!!!

You have the media event going on June 17-20 as well as The Tonight Show there live. I think Diagon Alley will be open to the public no later than June 21.

An employee told me 6/21. That was four days ago.

I’m going to Orlando in October and I can’t wait to see Diagon Alley! I also can’t wait for them to open the Universal Studios Hollywood WWOHP! I live in Cali so it will be so much more convenient! Can’t wait! Love all things Potter!

I am actually livid about this park opening. I have been following the construction since it started on Inside the Magic and am insanely a fanatic about harry potter. I won’t be here, but I believe it will open on june 21!!!! Have fun fellow fangirls and fanguys!!

I sure hope you’re right about that June 21 opening date, Inege. My fourteen year old Granddaughter is also a huge fan and she, her Mom, Dad, and Brother have saved for MONTHS for a trip down there. Arriving from Washington state by train on the 22nd. Keepin’ my fingers crossed!

I went to Universal on the 24 and Diagon Alley was surely open! It looked like the books and you could but wizard’s brew, pumpkin juice, or butter beer. Gringotts was truly amazing. It looked like live goblins! Then you go through elevator 9 miles underground (not really) and explore your way trough the underground tunnels of gringotts by mine car. But be careful, lord vordemort is always lurking. My 6 year old cousin loved it. Also there was TONS of shops all around and you could exchange wizard money. And I loved Knockturn Alley’s shop. You have to go there if you’re a slytherin, even though I’m a ravenclaw. Anyway I LOVED Diagon alley but didn’t get to go on the hogwarts express because you needed 2 park passes but it took you to Hogmeade in Islands of Adventure.
