I’m glad to hear that someone else felt a little awkward with the inclusion of Brenda Chapman in the extras. She contributed to a piece in the New York Times saying she was devastated by being pulled off the project and said, “Sometimes women express an idea and are shot down, only to have a man express essentially the same idea and have it broadly embraced.”
This is a shame. Still, her baby turned out to be a very sweet film and one that feels just right at home.
